Should I keep at least one bathtub in the house?
If you have young children or plan to sell soon, keeping one tub somewhere in the house is sensible. If the primary bath is the only one with a tub and nobody uses it, converting it is usually the better call. We will tell you which applies to your layout.
How long will my bathroom be out of use?
A tub-to-shower conversion is about a week. A full remodel is two to three weeks. If your house has a second bath we sequence the work so you always have one running.
Do you charge for the quote?
No. We come out, measure, look at what is behind and under where we can, and give you a written price. There is no pressure to sign on the first visit.
Can we pick materials without driving to the showroom?
You can, but most people prefer to see stone and glass in person. The showroom is in Cary, about fifteen minutes away, and one visit usually settles it.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes, licensed and insured, and veteran owned. Our own crew does the work rather than a rotating set of subcontractors.
My neighbour just had the same shower fail. Is that normal?
In Holly Springs, yes. Whole streets went up in the same couple of years with the same builder fixtures, so they tend to reach the end of their life at roughly the same time.
Do you use acrylic liners over the old shower?
No. We build in stone and tile. A liner fitted over an existing surround hides whatever is failing underneath, which is usually why someone called us in the first place.
What does the warranty cover?
A lifetime workmanship warranty on what we install. Tubs, glass and fixtures carry their own manufacturer warranties and we hand those over when the job is finished.
